My name is Monique and I am originally from Germany. I was diagnosed with PCOS and I was told by my doctor that I had to change my diet and exercise more. The support and directives ended there. Unfortunately, no matter how much exercise I did and how much I tried to eat “healthy”, my body only seemed to get worse. After several months of trying my best to lose at least one single pound with no success, I was more than ready to give up. My husband and I accepted at that point that we would never have kids and that chronic diseases such as diabetes were in my near future.

Something deep inside me just didn’t want to give up just yet. I wrote a Facebook entry asking my friends for help and got the answer I was looking for. A friend of mine put me in contact with a Holistic Nutrition Consultant she was friends with. In all honesty, at first I did not believe that anything was going to change, but deep down I was still hoping.

Cristina and I got to know each other a little bit and I shared with her my health information. I explained how PCOS had affected me during most of my life. Almost instantly she was able to give me explanations and told me how to get my healing started. It was finally easy for me to understand and that same day I put her suggestions to work.

Soon and for the first time in more than twenty years I experienced no sugar cravings, and that alone made me want to cry. I finally realized what I had been doing wrong and that things that I thought were healthy were simply not good for me. I dropped 15 pounds in the first three weeks and I continue to work on it every day. I now have hope that I will not become a diabetic and that there are children in our future. *

Thank you Cristina!

She brings a singular awareness to detail and a solid work ethic. In addition, Cristina always completes her work on time and exceeds my expectations in the quality and care she puts into it.

Over the years, she has experienced firsthand the crucial impact that the food we consume has on our health. I think this knowledge is driving her to help others struggling with dietary issues, so that they can achieve a healthier, happier life. *

I had the pleasure of mentoring Cristina during her two years as a student at Bauman College, and I can’t say enough about the depth of her knowledge, her thorough grasp of complex material, her compassion in working with clients, and her clear and straightforward approach to challenging and complicated issues and concerns. As a student, she took the time to broaden and deepen her knowledge. I have full confidence in her skill and ability in offering complete nutritional guidance and support. It was wonderful to experience her growth throughout the program, and to see her graduate with the tools and resources to really help her clients effect significant change in their lives. *

Cristina is a mindful, creative, and cultivated person, who carries grace seamlessly through her various family roles and professional pursuits.  Long before I knew her well, I was impressed by the unusual care with which she prepares meals for family and friends.  As a family, they have worked in a challenging high desert climate to cultivate fruit trees and vegetable gardens, working with their sons to raise their own chickens for eggs.

I have no doubt that Cristina is well-placed and motivated to help others, beyond her dedication to family and friends, to better understand, transcend, and find their own healing from the social and economic disaster which is our conventional food culture.
